This intricate handwoven trivet is made in Rwanda, Africa by skilled artisans. It is made with coiled sisal fibers that are wrapped in organically dyed sweetgrass fibers. All fibers are naturally sourced in Rwanda. Each disc includes a loop on the back of the basket, making it simple to add colorful texture to your walls. It can also be used in the kitchen as a trivet for pots and pans. If necessary, use a damp cloth to wipe the basket clean.
Rwanda is located in East/Central Africa and is known as “the land of a thousand hills.” It has beautiful landscapes, from rivers and lakes to volcanoes and dense tropical forests.
